DP&L Declares Quarterly Preferred Dividends.Business Editors DAYTON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11, 2001 The Board of Directors of The Dayton Power and Light Company today declared quarterly dividends on The Dayton Power and Light Company preferred stocks Stock shares that have preferential rights to dividends or to amounts distributable on liquidation, or to both, ahead of common shareholders. Preferred stock is given preference over common stock. Holders of preferred stock receive dividends at a fixed annual rate. as follows:
