Depending on the intensity of the exercise, cooling down can involve a slow jog or walk, or with lower intensities,  outside, businesses may start thinking about chilling operations inside. Chillers are used to provide chilled water for air-conditioning systems, as well as for many industrial applications. Understanding compressor compressor, machine that decreases the volume of air or other gas by the application of pressure. Compressor types range from the simple hand pump and the piston-equipped compressor used to inflate tires to machines that use a rotating, bladed element to achieve  performance, the refrigeration cycle Refrigeration cycle

Find out the basics about power quality issues in a workshop conducted by DP&L's power quality expert. Dan Dull has more than five years of experience solving hundreds of power quality problems in all kinds of commercial and industrial facilities. This three-hour workshop will build fundamental knowledge of power problems and give you information on how to fix the problems.

This workshop is ideally suited for facility managers, maintenance personnel, engineers and electricians.

DP&L is committed to offering practical solutions for businesses in what is an increasingly competitive marketplace. Besides the workshops, the company also offers programs to businesses to increase reliability, energy efficiency and energy monitoring. In each case, DP&L energy experts meet one-on-one with businesses to determine their needs and recommend a plan to increase efficiency and their bottom line.

The Business Energy Solutions Workshops program was initiated in 1993 to help business customers learn how to maintain energy efficient operations without sacrificing productivity. More than 26,000 people have taken part in the workshops since their inception. Anyone who would like to attend -- whether a business operator or an energy enthusiast -- can register for a workshop by calling 1-800-Way-ToGo (1-800-929-8646).
