"The club wanted me to get a bit more experience, but then they wanted money for me, it was ridiculous," he said.

"Now with a new regime coming in, hopefully they will care more about football.

"It will be better for the club in the long run to let me go and work on my game instead of just worrying about loan fees and promotion bonuses."
