Robert Downey Jr. was cited Wednesday for trespassing and being under the influence of a controlled substance controlled substance n. a drug which has been declared by federal or state law to be illegal for sale or use, but may be dispensed under a physician's prescription. after he allegedly broke into a neighbor's home and passed out in a child's bed.
The Tuesday night arrest at a home on exclusive Broad Beach Road came just hours after authorities filed drug and weapons charges against the 31-year-old actor in connection with a June 23 arrest.
The alleged break-in occurred at the home of Lisa Curtis, who said she was putting her kids to bed when she discovered a man in a bedroom, covered with a quilt.
``He seems to have passed out in my child's bed,'' Curtis said in a call to 911. Authorities released a recording of the call Wednesday.
``We kind of shook him and he would moan and kind of talk but he seems to just go right back to sleep,'' Curtis told the 911 operator. She said she did not recognize the man.

Before his release, he was cited for trespassing and being under the influence of a controlled substance, and was ordered to appear for arraignment A criminal proceeding at which the defendant is officially called before a court of competent jurisdiction, informed of the offense charged in the complaint, information, indictment, or other charging document, and asked to enter a plea of guilty, not guilty, or as otherwise permitted Aug. 30 in Malibu Municipal Court.
Curtis said she believed Downey entered her home through the front gate and front door, which she said she leaves open from time to time to enjoy the ocean breeze The Ocean Breeze, (formerly Calypso, Azure Seas, and Dolphin) was an ocean liner, and later a cruise ship.

Downey faces a July 26 arraignment on charges stemming from his June arrest in which officers allegedly found small amounts of crack and powder cocaine, tar heroin and a concealed .357-caliber Magnum in his vehicle.
