DOWN 2 GAMES, TAFT RALLIES TO REACH SEMIFINALS : TAFT 3, PALISADES 2.

Byline: Brian Dalziel Daily News Staff Writer

Just when it looked as if its boys' volleyball volleyball, outdoor or indoor ball and net game played on a level court. An upright net, 3 ft (or 1 m) high, the top of which stands 8 ft (2.43 m) from the ground for men, 7 ft 4 1/8 in (2.  season would be coming to a close, Taft High somehow, some way found a way to keep it going Thursday night.

In a rematch REMATCH Cardiology Clinical trials–Randomized Evaluation of Mechanical Assistance Therapy as an alternative in Congestive Heart failure–related to use of a portable, electric left ventricular-assist system–LVAS–eg, HeartMate®  of last year's 4-A final, the Toreadors rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat defending City champion Palisades Palisades, cliffs along the west bank of the Hudson River, NE N.J. and SE N.Y., extending from N of Jersey City, N.J., to the vicinity of Piermont, N.Y., with a general altitude of from 350 ft to 550 ft (107–168 m).  11-15, 12-15, 15-12, 15-13, 15-4 in the City Championship quarterfinals at Taft.

Taft hosts sixth-seeded Poly (language) Poly - 1. A polymorphic, block-structured language developed by D.C.J. Matthews at Cambridge in the early 1980s.

(13-2), a five-game winner over No. 3 Granada Hills, in the semifinals Tuesday at 7 p.m.

``Man, I started crying (after losing the second game), because I thought we were going to lose,'' said Taft senior middle blocker Brandon Brown, who finished with 15 kills. ``But I didn't want to go out a loser (jargon) loser - An unexpectedly bad situation, program, programmer, or person. Someone who habitually loses. (Even winners can lose occasionally). Someone who knows not and knows not that he knows not. . I wanted to beat this team so badly.''

Thursday's match had all the atmosphere of a championship match, if not a semifinal match, as the students raced onto the court after Moe Noorzay's serve bounced off Shane McNair's arm to close out the fifth game.

But second-seeded Taft (13-1) certainly knows that the No. 10 seed Palisades (10-5) received at the City meeting April 27 was a slap in the face Henry Ate released Slap in the Face in 1997. Track listing

``We knew that ranking wasn't true,'' said Taft coach Doug Magorien. ``We knew as a team that they were anywhere between a fourth and eighth seed. But the way they played us tonight, it may have been a third.

``Now we have two more matches to win the title and that's been a goal of ours all season.''

Taft's chances of achieving that goal did look bleak as the Toreadors squandered squan·der

leads of 11-5 in the first game and 12-6 in the second. They even had a comfortable 11-6 lead in the third game, but Palisades inched its way back, closing the gap to 11-9.

The Dolphins again trailed 14-9 and rallied to cut the margin to 14-12. But sophomore outside hitter Masood Noorzay's kill kept Taft alive, 15-12.

The fourth game had all the drama of the previous three.

This time Palisades held the lead 6-1 before Taft mustered enough to take its first lead of the game, 7-6. Later, the Dolphins came to within 14-13 on Jason Han's block on Brown for a point.

On this night, though, Taft just wasn't going to be denied as Palisades senior outside hitter Rob Neilson's hit went wide, 15-13.

In the fifth game, Taft roared to an 11-0 lead and never looked back.

And now the Toreadors are one match away from getting to the finals.
