DOUBLE EAGLE ANNOUNCE THE SIGNING OF AN AGREEMENT IN PRINCIPLE WITH JELINEK INTERNATIONAL.


VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 1995--DOUBLE EAGLE ENTERTAINMENT CORP. and Mr. Louis Dion (President) are pleased to announce the signing of an agreement in principle with Jelinek International, an International Business Development, Investment and Trade company founded by the Honorable Otto J. Jelinek. The Honorable Mr. Jelinek will represent Double Eagle as Managing Director for Eastern and Central Europe Central Europe is the region lying between the variously and vaguely defined areas of Eastern and Western Europe. In addition, Northern, Southern and Southeastern Europe may variously delimit or overlap into Central Europe. .

The Honorable Mr. Jelinek founded Jelinek International following his retirement from a long and distinguished career in Canadian politics. For more than 20 years, The Honorable Mr. Jelinek gained an international profile in government and business circles as he represented Canada's interests both domestically and internationally.

As Minister of National Revenue, he monitored, administered, and helped establish international trade matters, including the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the United States The United States and Canada share a unique legal relationship. U.S. law looks northward with a mixture of optimism and cooperation, viewing Canada as an integral part of U.S. economic and environmental policy. , N.A.F.T.A. and the G.A.T.T.. The Honorable Mr. Jelinek was the Government's choice to lead more than 23 missions to the Far East, Central and Eastern Europe The term "Central and Eastern Europe" came into wide spread use, replacing "Eastern bloc", to describe former Communist countries in Europe, after the collapse of the Iron Curtain in 1989/90. , and elsewhere during the course of his political career.

The Honorable Mr. Jelinek's specific duties with respect to the "TV Bingo/Lottery" are anticipated to include regular liaison with the Czech government and as Double Eagle continues to seek other opportunities in various countries in Eastern Europe and Russia, The Honorable Mr. Jelinek will be called upon to offer his expertise in negotiations.
