:DOTX) today announced its operating results for the fourth quarter and year ending June June: see month.  30, 1997.

DOTRONIX had revenues of $9,940,868 for the year ended June 30, 1997 compared to $14,576,259 for fiscal year 1996. The net loss for the year was $1,421,097 or $.34 per share compared with earnings of $841,300 or $.20 a share for fiscal year 1996.

For the fourth quarter of fiscal 1997, revenues were $2,576,095 compared to revenues of $4,322,335 in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 1996. The loss for the quarter was $610,174 or $.15 a share compared to earnings of $500,804 or $.12 per share for the same quarter a year ago.

Revenue declined in fiscal 1997 mainly due to a decrease in multimedia units shipped caused by reduced orders from customers of these units and the completion of a major contract with the FAA in fiscal year 1996. The loss for the quarter and the year is due to the lower revenues partially offset by reduced selling, general and administrative expenses.
