(computer) Power Macintosh - Apple Computer's personal computer based on the PowerPC, introduced on 1994-03-14. Existing 680x0 code (both applications and device drivers) run on Power Macintosh systems without modification via a Motorola 68LC040 emulator.

Reply's first DOS on Mac cards for Power Macintosh systems provide the fastest, most affordable way to run DOS and Windows on a Mac. Both cards will support Microsoft's recently announced Windows 95.

The DOS on Mac card for the 6100 provides full 486 66MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  performance as well as optional SoundBlaster and networking capabilities. Reply's new card for the Power Macintosh 7100/66 expands on the features of the original card to include support for the latest 486DX4/100 and Pentium OverDrive processors, expanded video resolutions, increased memory capacity to 64MB and optional serial/parallel ports.
