Kerry boss Jack O'Connor's worst fears were realised when Donaghy had the injury assessed in a clinic in Dublin and he was ruled out for a minimum of six to eight weeks. Donaghy's presence was vital to Kerry's bid to salvage their season through the back door but this news spells disaster for the player and the Kingdom.
