DON'T BEE TOO QUIET.

Spelling winner Anjay Ajodha came a long way for our Tulip Time spelling bee, so he wanted everybody to hear him spell.

That's why he spelled ever word really LOUD. "One of the moms thought there was something wrong with me," the Texas six year old laughed. "She thought I was mad, but I really wasn't."

Anjay got ready for the contest with the same kind of enthusiasm. "We practiced every night; we practiced every weekend," he said. It paid off; he spelled all the words right and earned a $2,500 scholarship.

Was Anjay flustered after the event? Not at all; he won last year, too.
