DOMINION TEXTILE EXTENDS COMMON SHARE BUY AND SELL PROGRAMS@
MONTREAL, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Dominion Textile announced today it is extending until June 30 its common share buy and sell programs for shareholders who hold a small number of shares. These programs were originally scheduled to expire on April 30, 1992.
Under the programs, shareholders who hold less than 100 shares as of the 16 March record date may either sell their shares or buy additional shares to increase their total holding to 100 shares (board lot) without incurring brokerage fees or other charges. At the same time, they allow the Corporation to reduce administration costs incurred in servicing a large number of small shareholder accounts.
Both Programs, which are voluntary, have been accepted by the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Montreal Exchange. They are administered by The Royal Trust Company.
