("Dominion") and Gobi Oil & Gas Ltd. ("Gobi") has received all required shareholder, court and regulatory approvals and became effective December 31, 1994. Shares in the combined company, which retains the Dominion Explorers Inc. name, are expected to commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) Canada's largest stock exchange, trading approximately 1,200 company stocks and 33 options. under the symbol "DMN" beginning January 9, 1995. Gobi shares will be delisted from the Alberta Stock Exchange Alberta Stock Exchange See Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX). at the end of trading on January 6, 1995. Letters of Transmittal were mailed on January 3, 1995 to the former Dominion and Gobi shareholders with instructions respecting the exchange of share certificates for those in the combined company.
