The Republican nominee will stage a 20-minute rally outside the mall's food court on Town Center Drive. The 7 p.m. event is expected to draw more than 400 people, including Secret Service agents, media representatives and campaign officials. ``It's a prestigious stop,'' Councilwoman Jo Anne Darcy said. ``We never had President Clinton here or his vice president. It's a historic occasion.'' In fact, it will be the first time a major presidential contender has stumped in the valley, Mayor Carl Boyer said. Said City Manager George Caravalho: ``It'll call attention to our great city. Dole is planning a 14-state round-the-clock campaign that will take him from Ohio to California and back to Russell, Kan., by election night.
