DOE/OIT Receives Prestigious Hammer Award.


The Office of Industrial Technologies (OIT OIT Organización Internacional del Trabajo (Spanish: International Labor Organization)

) within the Dept. of Energy (DOE), headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary Denise Swink, ended last year with another recognition. In a Washington, D.C. ceremony on Dec. 20, the Hammer Award was bestowed upon OIT. This nationally acclaimed ac·claim

 award recognizes the accomplishments of those within government who have set new standards of outstanding achievement in reinventing and streamlining government. OIT has developed a more simplified, accessible and less expensive method for industry and university customers to respond to solicitations for financial assistance awards. The metalcasting industry is a direct beneficiary of this new solicitation solicitation
