The Dodgers put what probably was the final touch on their spring-training roster Monday, signing veteran reliever Brian Meadows Matthew Brian Meadows (born November 21, 1975) is a relief pitcher and is currently a free agent.

Meadows graduated from Charles Henderson High School in Troy, Alabama, where he played baseball.
, a right-hander, to a minor-league contract and inviting him to big-league camp.

Meadows, 30, will compete for a middle-to-long relief job that might include the occasional spot start. He posted a 4.58 ERA in 65 appearances for Pittsburgh last season, but hasn't made a start since the seven he had for the Pirates in 2003.

The Dodgers are expected to bring 56 players to camp, including 24 pitchers.
