Cleveland High of Reseda is among the first to install the stadium seats. Agoura, Chatsworth and El Camino Real El Camino Real (Spanish for The Royal Road or The King's Highway) was the name of a series of pre-automobile highways linking the various New World colonies of Spain:

of Woodland Hills also have received seats.

``It's unbelievable,'' Cleveland baseball coach Joe Cascione said. ``It makes it look like a college field. It gives a really nice feel. The field looks great.''

Cleveland's field, where seating previously was limited to a few old bleachers, now has 162 individual seats - all in red, a school color - in two rows running from the first-base side to the third-base side.

Once the Cavaliers retrieved the seats from Dodger Stadium, Cascione said his team spent three months cleaning, painting and installing them. With the season set to begin next week, other schools have decided to wait until summer to complete the upgrade.

The Dodgers say they tried to accommodate as many teams as possible and estimate they donated thousands of the old seats to Southland high schools Southland High School is a public high school with students in grades nine through twelve. For teams such as Cleveland, Chatsworth and El Camino Real, the seats are particularly special, serving as a reminder of the field on which each claimed City Section championships in recent years.

``The Dodgers were great,'' Cascione said. ``They wanted to help Cleveland, and they wanted to help the community. It was nice.''
