When Todd Hundley
Todd Randolph Hundley (born May 27, 1969 in Martinsville, Virginia) is a former Major League Baseball catcher/outfielder.

Todd made his major league debut with the New York Mets on May 18, 1990 when he was only 20 years old.

Mulholland is a 1981 graduate of Laurel Highlands (Pennsylvania) High School.
in the fifth inning Saturday night, it marked the beginning of an experiment to move the switch-hitting catcher to the left side only.

Hundley bounced into a force play on a check swing against Chen. But for the final seven weeks of the season he is expected to bat lefty against left-handers.

Hundley, who is expected to be rested tonight against Braves left-hander Tom Glavine Thomas Michael Glavine (born March 25 1966 in Concord, Massachusetts) is an American left-handed starting pitcher in Major League Baseball. He is currently a free agent, having last pitched for the New York Mets. , discussed the possibility with Manager Davey Johnson
David Allen Johnson (born January 30 1943) in Orlando, Florida is a former second baseman and manager in Major League Baseball. Johnson played for the Baltimore Orioles (1965-1972), Atlanta Braves (1973-1975), Philadelphia Phillies (1977-78) and Chicago Cubs (1978).
during a meeting Thursday and he received Johnson's blessing.

Hundley has been hampered by soreness in his right wrist, which was surgically repaired several years ago. It has affected his swing and his numbers from the right side. He entered Saturday's game with just four hits in 40 at-bats from the right side and all 17 of his home runs have come from the left side.

``We talked about it and I don't see a problem,'' Johnson said. ``It is something I want him to think about, but I don't think he needs to make a decision until spring training.''

Hundley has been monitoring the progress of San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  first baseman J.T. Snow, who has played well this season after abandoning switch hitting.

``In the case of an injury I understand,'' Johnson said. ``Robbie did not have a problem with it. But I hope Todd does give up the idea of switch hitting altogether.''

Young, who has been derailed by injuries the past two seasons, reached base three times in Friday's 7-3 loss to Atlanta. He also stole his 35th base.
