 Mark Grudzielanek Mark James Grudzielanek (born June 30, 1970 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is a second baseman in Major League Baseball who currently plays for the Kansas City Royals. --Budding rivalry? The Dodgers-Angels series is heating up. At least in ticket sales. The weekend series was a sellout and the Angels had just one before the Dodgers came to town. The 130,341 crowd total was a three-game series record at Edison Field.

--Odds and ends: Dodgers starter Omar Daal (groin injury) had no problems with his bullpen session Sunday and is expected to make his start on Tuesday. ... Dodgers pitcher Kazuhisa Ishii, who played in six of 10 Japanese World Series, made just one All-Star team. That was in 1999, when he was the winning pitcher.
