      BULLPEN: B

Eric Gagne is dominant, but others have had periods of inconsistency.

      CATCHER: B+

Paul Lo Duca Paul Anthony Lo Duca (born April 12, 1972 in Brooklyn, New York) is a catcher in Major League Baseball who plays for the New York Mets. Previously, Lo Duca played for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1998-2004) and Florida Marlins (2004-2005).  batting .326, but group has thrown out just 32 of 86 base stealers (37.2 percent).

      FIRST BASE: A-

Who'd a thunk In a PC, to execute the instructions required to switch between segmented addressing of memory and flat addressing. A thunk typically occurs when a 16-bit application is running in a 32-bit address space, and its 16-bit segmented address must be converted into a full 32-bit flat address.  it? Grudzielanek's defense is overshadowing his offense.

      SHORTSTOP: B

Dodgers want Izturis to field and he does it splendidly.

      THIRD BASE: D

Beltre is trying and mom always said effort counted for something.

      LEFT FIELD: A

What Brian Jordan lacks in power and average he compensates for with class, charisma and caring.

      FRONT OFFICE: A+

Bring a rock to Evans. He'll touch it and turn it to gold.

      WHAT THEY NEED

Another lefty in the bullpen, an infielder off the bench with power, 2B Mark Grudzielanek and Beltre to hit more than .245 and .238, respectively, and Dreifort and Brown back from the disabled list.

      WHAT THEY CAN TRADE

Beltre, but it is not a cost-effective move. Even though Beltre is having a terrible season, he's making $2.3 million and won't be a free agent until after the 2004 season. GM Dan Evans doesn't want to deplete de·plete
