DOCUCON AWARDED $945,000 CONTRACT WITH U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE.


San Antonio San Antonio (săn ăntō`nēō, əntōn`), city (1990 pop. 935,933), seat of Bexar co., S central Tex., at the source of the San Antonio River; inc. 1837. , Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 24, 1995--Docucon, Incorporated (The Nasdaq SmallCap Market: DOCU DOCU Documentary (film) ), a leading provider of document conversion services to the federal, commercial and legal markets, today announced that it has been awarded a $945,000 contract with Defense Printing Services to provide document conversion services to the U.S. Department of Defense ("DOD (1) (Dial On Demand) A feature that allows a device to automatically dial a telephone number. For example, an ISDN router with dial on demand will automatically dial up the ISP when it senses IP traffic destined for the Internet. ").

The contract calls for the conversion of a wide variety of technical documents and engineering drawings to electronic formats, and is a continuation of work that Docucon has been providing to the DOD as the military services move to paperless weapons systems documentation.

Docucon is a leader in high-volume conversions of paper and microform In micrographics, a medium that contains microminiaturized images such as microfiche and microfilm.
