. announced today that it will offer a new service that allows FOMA See i-Mode. (TM) users to send and receive domestic i-mode(TM) mails, including with attachments, on an unlimited basis for as little as 780 yen including tax per month beginning December 1.

The new service, named Mail Tsukai-hodai (Japanese for "all-you-can-use mail"), applies to mail to and from any phone or PC, as it is not limited to mail communication with DOCOMO customers.

DOCOMO also announced the start of Type Simple(TM), a dedicated billing plan under which users of Mail Tsukai-hodai will pay just 780 yen per month (when all available discounts are applied), plus the usual i-mode monthly charge of 315 yen including tax (see attachment).

The Mail Tsukai-hodai service also covers attractive packet flat-rate services under which users pay as they go up to a maximum of just 4,410 yen per month in the case of using i-mode packet communication only.

Following the launch of the unlimited mail service, DOCOMO will stop accepting new applications for Family Wide(TM) Value, Family Wide Limit(TM) Value and Family Wide 2in1(TM), all billing plans for children up to junior high school age and senior citizens over 60 years of age, on March 31, 2010.
