DOC MEND MY JED LEG; Knee surgery for twin Edward never thought that by being on The X.
JEDWARD twin Edward Grimes will go into hospital next week to have an operation on his damaged knee.
And he reckons brother John will steal all his grapes.
The 18-year-old has been recovering after injuring his leg at the T4 on the Beach festival at the beginning of the month.
The X Factor star was rushed to hospital after toppling over on-stage. He twisted his knee and tore ligaments in the fall and now faces surgery to correct the damage.
Speaking to the Razz, he revealed: "I have to have it done as soon as possible. It's crazy because we've got a massive UK tour coming up and so much promotion and everything with our CD. But right now I've got to have surgery on it.
"But I'll be OK because John will be there and he'll probably eat all the food in the hospital."
The twins are indeed busy. After being told they were "not very good" by Simon Cowell on The X Factor and coming sixth - the show was won by Joe McElderry, although it took The Razz a few moments to remember his name - Jedward were dropped by Sony when their debut single Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) failed to reach the top spot.
However, under the guidance of Louis Walsh, they claim they've already made a million each.
Their second single, All The Small Things - a cover of the Blink 182 song - is out on Monday and we've got pictures from the video that show the usually quiffed twins with flat hair, wearing all black and metal gloves, as well as hooped shirts on a boat.
Their debut album Planet Jedward is out a week after on July 26.
Next month their ITV2 documentary Jedward: Home Alone will air for three weeks.
Edward, who always stands on the left, laughed: "It's crazy because we never thought that by being on The X Factor we would end up having an album."
The boys love their fans, who often wait outside the twins' hotels.
John said: "I think our fans like showing us how Jedicated they are."
Jedicated? Do you have any more Jedwardisms? "Jepic," said John adding that this was a "Jinterview".
This year's X Factor auditions are taking place without Dannii Minogue, who is taking time off following the birth of her son, and Cheryl Tweedy, who is battling back after her bout of malaria.
Simon Cowell has brought in guest judge Katy Perry - and the boys are big fans of her and her fiance Russell Brand.
Edward said: "At Russell's premiere for Get Him To The Greek, our fans turned up with stickers of our album and stuck them over his back."
They may be mad as a bag of badgers but you really can't help loving these boys.
