St. Monica, denied its first Southern Section Championship by Moorpark in last year's title game at Moorpark, earned another trip to the Section final Friday night by defeating Calabasas 42-22 in a Division XI semifinal at St. Bernard High School "St. Bernard High School" may be United Kingdom

``We have some unfinished business and we're going to take care of it next week,'' said Mariners running back Davion Doby after rushing for a game-high 210 yards and three touchdowns to end almost personally the Coyotes' season at 9-3-1.

The Mariners' victory also lifted them to 9-3-1, good enough for their school's third section final appearance. They'll face either St. Bernard St. Bernard

Calabasas is still waiting for its first title appearance after splitting with the Mariners, who lost 21-14 to the Coyotes earlier this season.

``I think we were hungrier this time,'' said Doby, whose tackle-breaking runs sparked the Mariners during a 28-7 first-half blitz blitz

Down 28-7 entering the third quarter and fighting rain in a passing situation, the Coyotes rallied to cut the score to 28-14 on Enoch's 21-yard touchdown pass to Mike Armacost.

When Calabasas was checked to minus 3 yards on its next drive, St. Monica put the game away with a 40-yard touchdown drive good for a 42-14 lead.

``They played a good game and we played OK,'' said Calabasas linebacker Jason Nemit, a hard-hitting senior who seemed to be in on almost every tackle while the Coyotes were rallying in the third quarter.

Enoch led the Coyotes with 118 yards passing, drawing his team's biggest cheer in the closing seconds with a 15-yard completion to Jaime Batile a 5-7 foreign exchange student from Spain.

Drew Coppola scored the Coyotes' first touchdown with a 8-yard run in the first quarter to bring Calabasas even a 7-7.

Enoch, who finished with two touchdown passes got the Coyotes' final score with a 4-yard pass in the final seconds to Matt Lowenstein.
