DOBI Medical International to Present at the Value Rich Small Cap Financial Conference.

MAHWAH, N.J. -- DOBI Medical International, Inc. (DBMI.OB) announced today that management will participate in the Value Rich Small Cap Financial Conference taking place September 14-15 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

Management will be available at booth #169 during the two-day event to meet with attendees who will have the opportunity to see the Company's Dynamic Optical Breast Imaging (DOBI(R)) technology commercially known as the ComfortScan(R) system. More than 2,500 institutional investors, fund managers, research analysts, investment bankers and other investors are expected to attend the event.

In addition, Phillip C. Thomas, DOBI Medical International's Chief Executive Officer, will present on Thursday, September 15, at 10:30 a.m. and will provide a Company update, including information on its ComfortScan technology.

The DOBI Medical ComfortScan system is a gentle, noninvasive and nonionizing dynamic optical breast imaging system designed to identify angiogenesis, or the growth of new blood vessels, as a marker for breast cancer development. Angiogenesis has been scientifically linked to the development of malignant tumors. Since most common imaging technologies do not detect angiogenesis, the ComfortScan system, in conjunction with screening mammography, is being developed to provide important new physiologic data to aid physicians in diagnosing breast cancer.
