DNA sample program seeks bank sponsors. (Marketing News).

DNA LifePrint is a new child-safety program seeking sponsors. Endorsed by John Walsh, host of "America's Most Wanted" on Fox television, DNA LifePrint teams tour the country, taking DNA samples from children to facilitate identification if the child later goes missing.

The DNA samples don't go into a database; instead, the samples are returned to the child's parents to keep on file. Instructions on keeping the DNA sample and John Walsh's child safety tips are given to parents, as well.
