Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the United States in both men and women. Like other cancers, lung cancer occurs after repeated insults to the genetic material of the cell.  in collaboration with Chiba University. Using DNA Chip Research's proprietary analysis technology AceGene, the two partners have extracted genes related to lung cancer and developed a chip that carries about 1,300 genes.

Further, the results of the recent forward-looking study indicate that the chip can predict lymph node metastasis metastasis /me·tas·ta·sis/ (me-tas´tah-sis) pl. metas´tases
