DMI Nutri-placr 2800-16.
Case DMI recently introduced the DMI nutri-placr 2800-16, a
component of the yield-till system that gets plant food near the roots
through side-dressing liquid fertilizer. It features exclusive, active
hydraulic down pressure on the wings of the toolbar that maintains 1,000
psi of downward force, while allowing 6[degrees] down-flex and
20[degrees] or more upward flex, without adding tongue weight during
operation. On the end rows, the wings raise up 6[degrees] for additional
clerance. The nutri-placr 2800-16 converts from 15 coulters for sixteen
30" rows to 11 coulters for twelve 30" rows, and the
double-rank toolbar and adjustable width wheels accommodate a wide
variety of row spacings.
