DKE Blues.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette joined the bandwagon of companies filing lawsuits against DKE Entertainment Group Inc., Natural State Resorts Inc. and attorney Kelli Cashion.

The state's largest newspaper filed suit seeking $8,786 for unpaid advertising it ran for two concerts, Dwight Yoakum and Jerry Lee Lewis.

In July, Global Event Coordination Company Inc., also filed suit against, DKE, NSR and Cashion trying to collect $33,321 in debt for expenses related to the Yoakum concert. Also in July, Concert Staging Services Inc., filed a suit naming Cashion, DKE and Stan Jackson, seeking $14,000.

Cashion had said that she shouldn't be held personally liable because she was acting for the company.

Natural State Resorts, if you remember, is the company behind the amendment that would give its subsidiary, Arkansas Casino Corp., a monopoly to operate six casinos in the state and allow a state-run lottery and legalize charitable bingo.
