DJ Robin lands a new job.

DJ Robin Galloway is set to join the radio station where Chris Evans started out on the road to fame.

Galloway, who quit ScotFM last week, will join Piccadilly Radio in Manchester.

He hopes the move will thrust him into the limelight in the same way as Evans and current Radio 1 breakfast show host Mark Radcliffe.

Galloway, 32, quit ScotFM after a series of bust-ups with new boss Jeff Graham.

He's gagged from talking about it until his contract runs out in the summer.

His wind-ups and wacky style won huge ratings.

Yesterday, a close friend said: "He's absolutely delighted with the new deal. It's great news for him."
