Born in Boston, Massachusetts to Steven Wolf and Susan Enowitch, Wolf was raised in West Orange, New Jersey. He graduated in 1986 from West Orange High School.
 

ATLANTIC COAST CONFERENCE The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) is a collegiate athletic league in the United States. Founded in 1953, the ACC's twelve member universities compete in twenty sports in the NCAA's Division I.

Who's Good: Penn State. It doesn't matter who plays quarterback, it still has a national championship caliber team.

Who's Not: Minnesota. Tony Mason got three weeks to recruit. He needed three years.

Players Who Matter: Penn State tailback Curtis Enis - 2,000 yards is easily attainable. Ohio State linebacker Andy Katzenmoyer - Just a sophomore, he's telling everyone he'll turn pro after season. Wisconsin tailback Ron Dayne - right behind Katzenmoyer challenging NFL NFL

Players Who Matter: Texas tailback Ricky Williams - ``Little Earl'' reminds fans of Earl Campbell with 2,262 yards in two seasons. Nebraska defensive end Grant Wistrom - All-American turned down NFL last year to chagrin of Big 12 opponents. Colorado quarterback John Hessler - he needs to escape Koy Detmer's shadow fast.

Who's Good: Notre Dame. Irish coach Bob Davie will pass the ball, so Ron Powlus might finally reach potential.

Who's Not: Army. The Cadets need a new quarterback and lost eight starters on defense.

Players Who Matter: Powlus. Notre Dame tailback Autry Denson - rushed for 1,179 yards and has huge offensive line. Notre Dame linebacker Kory Minor - eight sacks and forced three fumbles last season. Central Florida quarterback Daunte Culpepper - sixth-best efficiency rating in country last year, probably better than Powlus.

Big Game: Notre Dame at Michigan, Sept. 27. The Irish and Wolverines resume rivalry after taking two years off.

Bowl Prospects: Notre Dame, Navy.

This Year's Champ: Notre Dame.

This Year's Chump: Arkansas State.

SEC (SOUTHEASTERN CONFERENCE)

Who's Good: Florida. Back-to-back titles quite possible for Steve Superior.

Who's Not: Kentucky. Not even Rick Pitino could make these guys a winner.

Players Who Matter: Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning - The best quarterback in the nation tries to lift Vols to SEC title. Louisiana State tailback Kevin Faulk - top running back in SEC also dangerous return man. Alabama cornerback DeShea Townsend - one of top three CBs in the country.

Big Game: Tennessee at Florida, Sept. 20. Will the Vols ever win this game? They've lost the past four with everything on the line.

Players Who Matter: Colorado State quarterback Moses Moreno - this is the quarterback who will draw raves in the WAC. Colorado State tailback Damon Washington - a 1,000-yard rusher with one of the biggest lines in the country. BYU cornerback Omarr Morgan - picked off five passes last season, including one in Cotton Bowl.

Big Game: Colorado State at Colorado, Sept. 6. This could be an upset special.

Bowl Prospects: Colorado State, BYU.

This Year's Champ: Colorado State.
