The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (or CCPA) is a 154,000 square-foot entertainment and music venue located in the Cerritos Towne Center of Cerritos, California.  has announced its 2006-07 performance season, and once again it's packed with a wide array of all-star talent. As usual, the lineup will include marquee performers in a variety of genres - country, jazz, pop and classical music, and comedy, dance and theater.

Broadway standout Michael Crawford Michael Crawford, OBE (born as Michael Patrick Dumbell-Smith, 19 January 1942, Salisbury, Wiltshire), is an English actor and singer. He has won critical acclaim and numerous awards during his career, which includes radio, television and stage (including appearing on stage , known for his work in "The Phantom of the Opera," begins the season Aug. 19. The season's Broadway series features "Terracotta Warriors" Sept. 22, and "Man of La Mancha La Man·cha

 Superstar" arrives in March, and the series closes in May with "Cats," one of Broadway's longest-running musicals.

Carol Lawrence and Norm Crosby team up for a comedy special Oct. 22. < In March, Emmy Award winner Lily Tomlin will revisit some of her classic characters and comedy albums. The comedic duo Shields & Yarnell close the series on April 7.

Garth Fagan, choreographer for "The Lion King," launches the center's set of dance performances Sept. 29. Susan Marshall's style of emotional storytelling through dance comes in November, and modern dance company Pilobolus brings its innovative style and energy in February. The Philadelphia Dance Company (Philadanco) ends the series in April.

Country music legend Randy Travis starts the center's popular music performances Aug. 23, followed by singer-songwriter Burt Bacharach and fellow country star Kenny Rogers. There's Foreigner in October, Tower of Power in November, and Grammy-winning songstress song·stress

 Etta James & The Roots Band perform in March. The center's season closes May 20 with a classic beach party featuring Frankie Avalon and the Surfaris.

Jazz and blues fans can see the Dave Brubeck Quartet Aug. 21, luminary Steve Tyrell in September and Dave Koz's Smooth Jazz Christmas in mid-December. Blues Traveler performs in January, and the series closes with the Frank Potenza Trio in April and trumpeter Rick Braun in May.

The classical and opera series starts Sept. 15 with the Shanghai String Quartet and features the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

There are several child-oriented performances, including musical duo Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer Sept. 10, the Kennedy Center's "Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka" and the New Shanghai Circus in December.
