DISTRICT TRUSTEE SETTING SIGHTS ON COUNCIL.

 Trustee Andy Visokey said Monday that he will run for the Lancaster City Council next spring in an effort to bring harmony to the council.

Visokey, 34, said he is able to work well with people with opposing opinions - a skill he said is needed on the City Council.

``That type of leadership can be helpful in Lancaster,'' Visokey said. ``Harmony is something that is needed.''

The Lancaster City Council has had a number of public clashes, pitting Mayor Frank Roberts Frank Roberts may refer to:

Visokey, an analyst at Northrop Grumman's B-2 stealth bomber division, was 28 when he was elected to the Lancaster School District board in 1991 - at the time, the youngest to be voted onto the panel. He was re-elected in 1995.

Visokey has served two terms as president of the Antelope Valley Republican Assembly and is active in youth sports and the Boy Scouts of America Noun 1. Boy Scouts of America - a corporation that operates through a national council that charters local councils all over the United States; the purpose is character building and citizenship training .
