DISTRICT RECRUITS IN PHILIPPINES FOR NEW TEACHERS SPECIAL-ED, MATH EDUCATORS SOUGHT.

LANCASTER -- Facing a shortage of math and special-education teachers, the Antelope Valley Union High School District The Antelope Valley Union High School District (A.V.U.H.S.D.) is located in the Antelope Valley area of California, in northern Los Angeles County.

The district includes eight public high schools, one trade school, and two continuation high schools in the cities of Palmdale

The district has signed on with a Beverly Hills-based firm to recruit hard-to-find teachers in the Philippines at no cost to the district.
