All my fears about her watching too much sentimental claptrap melted away when I took her and her little sister to see Princess Wishes presented by Disney on Ice. Trust Disney to create something spectacular enough to impress even my cynical husband, who was reluctantly dragged along for the ride. With our toddler on his knee clapping to the beat, I witnessed him beaming from ear to ear on more than one occasion. Our eldest was thrilled to see her favourite characters in the most fabulous costumes. From Snow White, Belle and Arial to Mulan, Tinkerbell and Aladdin, they showed off some breathtaking stunts amid beautiful sets. She was particularly enraptured en·rap·ture tr.v. en·rap·tured, en·rap·tur·ing, en·rap·tures To fill with rapture or delight. en·rap by the wicked fairy Malificent, who transformed into an impressive fire-breathing dragon. While our youngest, at 18 months, was delighted by the antics of the seven dwarfs. This production is all about making the dreams of princesses come true - and with an audience of wide-eyed little girls dressed to the nines in princess costumes, that's exactly what it did!
