DISH Network Satellite Television Brings Local TV Channels to Boise, Idaho.

EchoStar Communications Corporation EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH) is the parent company of DISH Network and the maintainer of the satellite fleet that provides the signal that DISH Network markets.  (Nasdaq:DISH) announced today that its DISH Network(TM) now offers local TV channels by satellite television to Boise, Idaho.

The following local TV channels are offered: ABC ABC

This is the first time local TV channels are available by satellite TV in the Boise area, providing an alternative to local cable TV service. Local channels will be offered at $5.99 per month for DISH Network customers in Boise. DISH Network also provides digital video recording technologies and high definition TV channels to Boise.

DISH Network offers local channels via satellite to Boise customers in 11 Idaho counties including: Ada, Adams, Boise, Camas, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, Valley and Washington. Grant and Malheur counties in Oregon List of 36 counties in the U.S. state of Oregon. Oregon counties are also listed in order of per-capita income.

Oregon's postal abbreviation is OR and its FIPS state code is 41.
