Publicly accessible computer network connecting many smaller networks from around the world. It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the
 World's Best of Show in the Infrastructure category, for its DISCSTOR/naS product. This scalable solution can be used in departmental, workgroup, or even enterprise networks, and also has automated data and file migration. The DISCSTOR/naS product line allows companies to seamlessly add scalable storage to existing storage networks.
