Under details of the special promotion available today through Dec. 31, 2001, DIRECTV Broadband is offering two free months of DIRECTV DSL(TM) service to cable customers who sign up for one year of DSL service. In addition, DIRECTV Broadband will waive its $49.99 activation fee with this offer. This is a $150 total value.

To accommodate expected demand, DIRECTV Broadband has set up a special toll-free number, 1-866-6DSLNOW (866/637-5669), and a special Web site, www.DIRECTVDSL.com/nocable, to assist current cable customers.

DIRECTV Broadband will communicate this special offer to cable users with local advertising breaking in the next week.
