DIRECTV Adds KTDF-18 Azteca America to the San Antonio Local Broadcast Channel Lineup.


WHAT:     DIRECTV, Inc., provider of the nation's leading digital
          television service, has added KTDF-18, Azteca America, to
          the San Antonio local broadcast channel lineup. DIRECTV is
          the only multichannel service provider to deliver KTDF-18
          throughout the entire San Antonio designated market area
          (DMA).

          The launch of Azteca America in the San Antonio DMA marks
          the 17th major DMA where DIRECTV has launched an Azteca
          America local channel.  DIRECTV customers in this DMA who
          subscribe to the local channel package can now see a variety
          of Azteca America's Spanish-language entertainment
          programming, including worldwide soccer highlight coverage,
          "Ventaneando" with Patti Chapoy, newscasts from Mexico,
          highly popular novelas and professional Mexican League
          Soccer matches.

          TV Azteca, the second-largest producer of Spanish-language
          programming in the world, provides KTDF-18 with the full
          array of TV Azteca's hard-hitting, highly popular novelas in
          weekday primetime, including two brand new novellas, "Amor
          sin Condiciones" and "Amores Cruzados."  And on July 6
          begins the brand new season of "La Academia."

          DIRECTV currently offers customers in the San Antonio DMA
          access to additional Spanish-language local channels,
          including KWEX (Univision), KVDA (Telemundo) and KNIC
          (Telefutura). Other local channels in the lineup include:
          KSAT (ABC), KENS (CBS), KABB (Fox), WOAI (NBC), KLRN (PBS),
          KCWX (UPN) and KRRT (WB).  To receive local channels,
          DIRECTV customers can subscribe to the SELECCION EXTRA(TM)
          for $29.99 or TOTAL CHOICE(R) for $44.99 a month.
