SUNDERLAND'S El Hadji Diouf

El-Hadji Ousseynou Diouf (Arabic: الحج ديوف) (born 15 January, 1981) is a Senegalese footballer.
 was one of five Premier League stars who had to run the gauntlet as a mob in Senegal turned on their own team.

 Henri Camara were targeted after Senegal crashed out of the World Cup on Saturday.

A late equaliser saw Senegal held to a 1-1 draw by Gambia in Dakar, with the result costing them their place at both the African Nations Cup and World Cup finals in 2010.

Fans threw rocks and bottles, broke down fences and invaded the pitch.

Armed cops then had to escort the players back to the dressing room.

They remained inside the stadium for three hours before being smuggled out.

Diouf admitted: "This is a tragic end for the golden generation of Senegal."

Coach Lamine Ndiaye said: "If I talk about Saturday's events I risk getting done in."
