DINNER, DANCE TO HONOR TROOPS BLUE STAR MOMS WANT GIFT FUNDS.

Dance sponsors point out that many sons, daughters, husbands and wives from the area are in military service overseas and will not be able to come home for the holidays with their families, but instead will be sacrificing their comfort and risking their lives to try to keep the peace. The Blue Star Mothers want them to get packages from home.

Dinner will be catered by Stonefire Grill, with live music provided by the Del Aires. Local merchants have donated items for door prizes, a raffle items and a silent auction.

Among the donations are two vacation get-a-ways, a signed and numbered art print, tickets to ``The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Jay Leno (born April 28, 1950) is an Emmy-winning American comedian, writer who is best known as the current host of NBC television's long-running variety and talk program The Tonight Show.
