Bistro no more Some of us were sorry to see the low-priced Bistro at Citrus disappear. Chef-owner of the higher-priced Citrus, Michel Richard, explains why: ``It was just too hard to keep the two styles of food separated. For instance, one day a Bistro customer who had ordered the salmon with mushrooms mistakenly got the salmon with black Perigord truffles. He was quite happy to get this dish for $12. So now I have transformed the Bistro into a private banquet room that seats up to 70 guests. I'm very pleased with the way it has turned out.'' Citrus minus the Bistro is still at 6703 Melrose Ave., Hollywood. |
