DINING BEAT : BIG-TIME BARBECUE.

County Line, a full-service barbecue restaurant, is planning to open in early August in the former Truly Yours facility at 18588 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana.

With such fare as fried turkey strips ($7.25) and a plate of two large buffalo meat balls in sauce ($7.95), it offers the slogan ``From turkey nuts to buffalo balls, we have it all!'' It also lists buffalo chips, chili, quesadillas, crab cakes, chicken wings and fingers, mild red chilis stuffed with cream cheese and topped with shrimp, hot links, steaks, prime rib, a variety of barbecued ribs, brisket brisket

the mass of connective tissue and fat covering the anterior part of the chest in ruminants. Lies at the most ventral part of the neck, between the front legs and covering the anterior end of the sternum.
, smoked tri-tip, smoked pork roast, a variety of stuffed hot chili peppers, a veggie plate and a fresh fish of the day.

Also new on the scene are Cafe N'Awlins at 122 San Fernando Road San Fernando Road is a major street in the city and county of Los Angeles. It starts off in Castaic as The Old Road, passing through Santa Clarita and the Newhall Pass, where upon its intersection with Sierra Highway near the junction of the Golden State (I-5) and the , Burbank, (818) 563-3569, and Saigon Inn, 9002 Balboa Blvd., Northridge, 893-6731.

On the move

Looks like an exodus from the haute L'Orangerie kitchen and dining room to the revived Bistro, 246 N. Canon Drive, Beverly Hills.

Promising an early October reopening, the Bistro's new owners have announced the hiring of several L'Orangerie staffers, including chef Gilles Epie, sous chef Didier Labbe and maitre d' Albert Charbonneau, who will be president and general manager. Also on the Bistro team is former captain from the nearby shuttered Bistro Garden, Jose Santos.

Meanwhile, L'Orangerie has replaced Epie with Jean-Marie Konnert, previously at Les Arts (now Spencer's) in Pasadena and Brasserie Georges in Lyon, France. New L'Orangerie maitre d' is Christian Vannequefrom Givenchy Spa in Palm Springs.
