DICOM Group Plc Announces Partnership with BasWare Corp.

BASINGSTOKE, England -- DICOM Group plc ("DICOM Group"), a global leading provider of Information Capture and Communications solutions, today announced a partnership with BasWare Corporation ("BasWare"), a leading provider of financial automation software. The companies will join forces to promote a complete invoice automation solution that combines DICOM Group's Ascent for Invoices* software with BasWare Enterprise Purchase to Pay software solutions.

Ascent for Invoices is a modular add-on to Ascent Capture, the world's most popular information capture application. Captured content is sent to BasWare's software for matching with open purchase orders or contract information. Successfully matched invoices are paid automatically according to pre-defined workflows, while invoices containing information that exceeds a company's tolerances are auto-routed for exception handling within BasWare Invoice Processing.

DICOM's table line item capture capabilities are critical when utilising BasWare's Order Matching and Contract Matching modules. This enables customers to optimise their purchase to pay cycle and achieve superior spend analysis metrics.

The joint offering is based on a new Ascent Capture release script that utilises BasWare's .NET-based integration gateway to provide seamless integration with over 100 ERP and accounting systems, including SAP and the Oracle ERP family (Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft). BasWare and its partners will have access to Ascent for Invoices through DICOM's channel of Certified Solution Providers.

Stora Enso, Europe's number one paper producer, is the most recent company to implement the Ascent for Invoices and BasWare Invoice Processing solution. Other shared customers include leading medical equipment manufacturer, Medtronic and the leading European security firm, Securitas.
