 solutions, for the past six years and Chairman of that company for the past three years, during which time the company has grown revenues from $35m to $125m. He has more than 30 years experience in the software and computer services industry.

Between 1984 and 2000, Greg held various roles with IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  Corporation in the US, France, Germany and the UK. Most notably, from 1996 to 2000, he was General Manager of IBM's Global Industrial sector with responsibility for 15% of IBM's sales, the most senior position attained in IBM by a UK national. He also holds non-executive positions with a variety of private technology companies; Nexagent Ltd, where he is Chairman, Liberata plc and Target Group.

The appointment of the new Chairman follows the announcement by Otto Schmid, founder of DICOM Group, of his intention to retire before the end of the current financial year.
