DIANNE BARRY TO HEAD EBMUD LEGAL DEPARTMENT

OAKLAND, Calif., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Veteran attorney Dianne K. Barry has been appointed acting general counsel of the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD).
Barry, the district's assistant general counsel for the past nine years, replaces Robert B. Maddow, who resigned effective April 1 to enter private practice.
Before coming to EBMUD, Barry served for 11 years as a deputy city attorney for the City and County of San Francisco.
She earned her bachelor's degree from San Jose State University and her law degree from the University of San Francisco.
A search firm will be retained by the district to recruit both within and outside of EBMUD for the permanent general counsel position.
