DHL Appoints Industry Veteran as Executive Vice President for Express Ground; World's Leading Delivery and Logistics Provider Appoints John Cameron to Oversee Ground Products & Services for DHL Express.

PLANTATION, Fla. -- DHL, the world's leading express delivery and logistics company, today announced the appointment of John Cameron to Executive Vice President of Ground for DHL Express. With nearly 20 years of experience in the U.S. shipping and logistics industry, Mr. Cameron will play a key role in continuing to enhance DHL ground services and operations, strengthening DHL's presence in target markets, and developing new and innovative products for the ground sector.

Cameron started his transportation career in November 1985 with FedEx Ground, formally Roadway Package System, joining the company as it began to build its ground network and operations. There he held positions of progressing responsibilities in operations, sales, business development, and marketing, and has significant experience managing operations within a ground hub environment. Most recently, Cameron served as Divisional Vice President, responsible for all operational functions within the Eastern Division of FedEx Ground Package System, Inc., where he oversaw operations and was responsible for a broad operational workforce and several hundred management employees.

In addition to his extensive operational experience, Cameron has successfully managed sales growth and development, and has led several strategic business development initiatives.

In his new position at DHL, Mr. Cameron will report directly to John Mullen, Joint CEO of DHL Express, and will serve as a member of the DHL U.S. Management Board. Mr. Cameron, who will be based at the DHL U.S. corporate headquarters in Plantation, Florida, earned his bachelor's degree in Management and Labor Relations from Cleveland State University.
