DGI Technologies Showcases International Products At PT/Expo Comm China 2000; Products Provide Smaller Footprint, Offering Enormous Space Savings.

DGI Technologies, Inc. (DGI), a premier supplier of long-distance and cellular switching products, is exhibiting two of its international products at PT/Expo Comm China 2000. The DTI-3200 Digital Trunk Interface Card for E1 networks and DIF-3260C HD High Density Digital Interface Frame are on display in DGI's booth 2010 located at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China.

The DTI-3200 and DIF-3260C HD allow users of Motorola(a) EMX switching systems, originally manufactured by Alcatel USA(a), to utilize the latest digital techniques to expand and upgrade their systems, while saving valuable floor space.

Developed and designed to provide DGI's international customers greater E1 port capacity, the DIF-3260C HD frame consists of six double-density shelves, resulting in an increase of 100 percent port capacity over standard frames. It offers 4320 ports in the same space that previously offered only 2160 ports, thus reducing upgrade costs and saving floor space. The additional floor space could be used for installation of revenue generating equipment.

The DTI-3200 card is based on DGI's field-proven DTI card technology. It offers total compatibility for use in Motorola and Alcatel standard E1 DTF shelves and frames, as well as all DGI E1 shelves and frames. This allows the DTI-3200 to prolong the life of a customer's existing equipment. The DTI-3200 significantly lowers operating costs and expenses by reducing power consumption and heat dissipation.
