DGA Holds Twelfth Annual ``Meet the Nominees: Movies for Televison'' Symposium.
WHAT: The DGA is holding its twelfth annual "Meet the Nominees:
Movies for Television" symposium, which will explore the art
and craft of directing movies for television. The event will
include a screening of clips from the nominated movies and a
conversation moderated by Director Mick Garris (Stephen King's
"The Stand" and "The Shining") with nominees Lloyd Kramer, Joe
Sargent and, representing Christopher Reeve, producer Howard
Meltzer. The discussion will be followed by a cocktail
reception in the Guild's atrium.
