DG's Digital Video Distribution Network Now Reaches Nearly 900

: VIA), has installed DG's Digital Video Playback System (DVPS) receiver, enabling the network to digitally receive ads from agencies for insertion of national spots in its programming.

DG also announced that it has expanded its digital video distribution network to nearly 900 television stations that are enabled to receive advertising spots digitally from advertisers and ad agencies.

CBS leads an apparent trend in the industry as it joins the nearly 900 TV stations, cable networks and local cable broadcasters that receive their commercials digitally, within hours, from national advertisers via DG Systems' all-digital network. In September 2001, CBS also installed DG's NetClear digital clearance solution, enabling on-line clearance of spots.
