DFW AMA and TCU Neeley School of Business to Host Debra Kennedy, Senior Vice President, Marketing, FUNimation Entertainment at a Fort Worth Executive Program.

It assumed its present name in 1902 and moved to Fort Worth in 1910. , Fort Worth featuring Debra Kennedy, Senior Vice President, Marketing at FUNimation Entertainment.

Her presentation will address how FUNimation, a firm that manages over 105 television show brands in Anime, a children's and teen entertainment space, markets to today's "tech-savvy" and highly-wired youth and young adults. She will outline the key challenges they face in marketing their television brands and explain the consumer strategies they successfully and cost-effectively use to reach the multi-billion dollar youth market.

Prior to FUNimation, Debra was the Vice President, Marketing, Games, at Blockbuster. And, before that, she was General Manager, Multimedia Marketing, Nokia Mobile Phones North America. During Debra's time at Nokia, brand preference grew 300%, sales grew from $2 to $9 billion, and the brand was named 5th most valuable in the world by Interbrand. The campaigns Debra developed have won numerous awards including an Effie[TM] from the American Marketing Association. She also spent time at both Pizza Hut and T.G.I.
